Recently he completed some smaller touch up work on the same house.
Not only is Craig the owner of the organization, he is also the up front man on all the work that Cape Home Renovators bid for and carry out. He is totally honest and sincere in all the work that he does, his work is of the highest

Besides the building work which Craig does with his permanent team, he also has reliable sub contractors available to join his multi disciplinary team which enables him to offer a total building package which can include electrical and all the other specialized disciplines such as roofing, ceiling and insulation work,carpentry and the like.
His pricing has been competitive to the point that Craig now does additional work for me without me calling for competitive quotes.

Craig Trollip of Cape Home Renovators was appointed by us to do the
renovation work in Helderberg Village in July, 2020. The work involved extending the kitchen/scullery into what used to be the yard, and acomplete refurbishment of the existing areas. This involved:
- Building the new scullery with new wall, roof etc.
- Removing the wall between kitchen and sitting room to create an open plan.
- Refurbishment of bathrooms, including plumbing, tiling and fittings.
- Replacing all outside wooden doors and windows with aluminium.
- Preparing the floors of the living and bedrooms for laying of Oggie
wooden flooring.
- Replacing electrics, light fittings etc.
- Replacing interior wood doors.
- Building works for free standing wooden fireplace.
- Building works, tiling, plumbing etc. for kitchen.
- Replace cornices and skirting boards, skim walls, and painting thereof.
- All the joinery work was managed by the designer.
It was a pleasure to work with Craig. He was always very understanding and easy to work with. He has proven to us that he is a competent builder who manages a project well. His staff have all been pleasant and proficient in their trades. The chosen subcontractors were all well-skilled. The project was kept within budget (excepting for additional work at our request). After the completion of the project, he has been very helpful in sorting out
small issues that have cropped up. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a builder for a similar project.
We did a major renovation to our home in 2022 and appointed Cape Home Renovators (CHR).
Craig prepared a detailed itemised quote for material and labour cost. Because the costs were transparent, any changes to the actual build could be easily adjusted including savings for us as the owners. CHR executed the project professionally, on-time and within the budget. Craig and his team provided regular feedback and were always available to meet with us as the owners to review progress.
Because of his experience he proposed several valuable practical solutions during the build. These not only saved costs but resulted in an improved final product. Craig and his team responded promptly to queries, were always on-time for meetings and conducted themselves professionally and courteously throughout the projects. The build quality was of the highest standard with Craig and Chad providing hand-on and regular oversight of the process. Perhaps the most important indicator of his professionalism and integrity is his willingness to resolve issues even long after the project was completed.
